On Friday, August 26, 2022, Go!Gaming opened its fifth location. This time in Purmerend in the H20 Esports Campus.
In 2020, Pathé Theaters and H20 Esports Campus began developing a platform in which gaming and esports could be taken to a new, never-before-seen level. From this, the joint venture: Go!Gaming was eventually born. In late 2021, the first location opened in Pathé Schouwburgplein, Rotterdam, and in 2022 locations in Utrecht, Groningen and Maastricht followed. Since August 2022, Go!Gaming has been connected to the world by KPN's superfast First Class fiber optic internet.
The Go!Gaming location in Purmerend, purchased in cooperation with a real estate agent in Amsterdam, will be given the special name: Go!Gaming Lab. This makes it the "pilot lab" and its main purpose is to experiment with all kinds of gaming and tech. The goal behind it is to bring people together to discover and experience the fun and thrill of gaming, as well as develop and improve themselves. Go!Gaming Lab kicks off right away with an amazing new form of gaming: virtual reality, or VR Gaming. Put on the special VR glasses and immediately imagine yourself in a new interactive world!
In addition to VR Gaming, Go!Gaming Lab Purmerend also has a Nintendo Switch Area specially set up for Nintendo Switch Sports. Moreover, there are plenty of Playseat sim racers, Gaming PCs with Philips Hue lighting and HyperX periferals and other console spots available to experience the amazing world of gaming with.
Go!Gaming Lab Purmerend is open daily from 12:00 noon.
