Rulebook Valorant King Cup by Alienware
GENERAL RULES
1.1. Tournament
The Valorant King Cup by Alienware is an open tournament for Valorant, hosted by H20 Esports and played on PC. The tournament is limited to players who are residents or citizens of the following countries: Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg and France. Each team has 2 exceptions to the rule.
1.2. Administration
Anyone authorized by H20 to enter the Valorant King Cup by Alienware
Tournament to manage based on the rules and regulations, becomes an "Admin"
called. In the following, the collection of all Admins becomes the "Administration."

1.3. Participants and involvement
1.3.1. Each participant must:
Have a valid main Riot Account;
Be at least 16 years old on March 24, 2023;
Be a citizen or resident of a European country on March 24, 2023;
Not being an employee of H20;
Being in the Go!Gaming Discord server;
Not be a professional player participating in a qualified VCT or VRL team.
1.3.2. By participating in to enter the Valorant King Cup by Alienware Tournament
acknowledge participants that they will, without restriction, comply with tournament rules and
to the statements and decisions made by the Administration.
1.3.3. Each participant acknowledges the right of the Administration to enforce the rules and regulations
modify at any time without notice and override if necessary to fairly
play and integrity throughout the tournament.
1.3.4. Each participant must be respectful of Admins and other participants.
Insults and unfair or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated and will be
punished in accordance with these rules.
1.3.5 Each competitor must attempt to win each round of the tournament. Intentionally
losing for any reason is strictly prohibited.
1.3.6. Vulgar, racist, sexist or otherwise offensive player names are
prohibited. This is at the discretion of the tournament admins.
1.3.7. Each participant acknowledges the right of the Administration to name players.

1.3.8. Each participant in the Valorant King Cup by Alienware Tournament shall vote
agree that image, photo and audio material of them during the tournament, in which they will be
shown or heard, can be stored and used for announcements,
website content and other publications by H20 without restrictions in terms of time and
place.
1.3.9 Each participant/team will reimburse their own expenses for accommodation, food, drinks and
travel expenses when they qualified in the finals. H20 may make it though
possible for participants to purchase food and beverages on site.
1.4. Communication
1.4.1. All communications between participants and the administration must be made at all times and at any
moment of the tournament will be conducted in English or Dutch.
1.4.2. The administration may be contacted during the qualifying rounds via the following
email address: jimme@h20.gg or via the Go!Gaming Discord (me is tree #1736). This helps the
administrators to coordinate as a team and work on problems faster.
FORMAT & SCHEME
2.1. Tournament Format
The tournament is a one-day (1) Valorant tournament. With 4 online
qualifying days. The tournament consists of a bracket with direct elimination. The top 2
Qualifies for finals day. Games will be played on PC ("The Tournament").
2.2. Score metrics
All matches except the Grand Finals are a Best-of-One. The on-site Grand Finals
will be played as a Best-of-Three.
2.3. Registration
2.3.1 All participants must log onto FACEIT and make a team or join
joining a team. Teams have a check-in period of 60 minutes before the start of
the tournament. The first 32 teams to finish on time with all their players will enter in
eligible for a spot in the tournament on a first-come, first-served basis.
There is no entry fee.
2.3.2 All participants must be in a voice channel during the tournament from the
Go!Gaming Discord. This channel is assigned to you by the admin. In a voice
channel may sit only the 5 participants of the team.
2.4. Seeding
Seeding will be done automatically by FACEIT at the start time of the
tournament (meaning that uneven matches can take place in the first rounds).
2.5. Schedule
The qualifiers of the Valorant King Cup by Alienware Tournament will be held
of March 24, 2023, beginning at 19:00 GMT and ending April 14. The Grand Finals
to be played on May 6, 2023.
2.6. Tournament Restrictions
Participants must commit to playing the entire tournament.
Team participants must remain the same throughout the tournament in order to have an equal
playing field to be guaranteed. If participants cannot participate after the tournament is
started, the administration will suggest the next steps and the participant can complete the
risk losing his entire team. This is at the discretion of the administration.
CONTEST TIMES
3.1. Contest Times
Each match will be played at a time within the Tournament Window set by the
Administration to be determined at its discretion. All matches of the tournament
be played on May 6, 2023, starting at 1:00 p.m. This may last until 9 p.m.
3.2. Rescheduling / Deferral
Matches cannot be postponed or rescheduled to another date or
time, unless determined by the Administration in its sole discretion for any reason.
3.3. Punctuality
Competitions will begin at the time listed on FACEIT. Each competitor must
confirm his/her presence in the room before the confirmation timer expires.
Matches cannot be started earlier.
Matches cannot be delayed for any reason unless the previous match
took longer than planned.
If a team is not ready to start at the official game time, administrators may
In its sole discretion, disqualify the team from the game or Tournament. Administrators
may extend the punctuality deadline in exceptional circumstances to meet the
match to be played at their own discretion.
BEFORE THE MATCH
4.1. Check-in
All team captains can join the Tournament Discord server and check in
with the Tournament staff. All participants must be available at the time
start the tournament rounds on FaceIT and be ready for each match.
4.2. Map selection
4.2.1. Folder Pool:
The map pool consists of Haven, Split, Ascent, Icebox, Lotus, Pearl and Fracture.
4.2.2. Map selection process for Best-of-One matches:
This process must take place in the FaceIT lobby chat, before each match. FACEIT determined
random who is Team A. Team A begins the process and the folder for the match is
selected according to the following procedure:
Team A banned 1 folder
Team B banned 1 folder
Team A banned 1 folder
Team B banned 1 folder

4.2.3. Map selection process for Best-of-Three matches:
This process should take place in the FaceIT lobby chat, before each match. It better
placed team (highest team in the bracket on FaceIT) is Team A. Team A starts the
process and the folder for the match is selected according to the following procedure:
Team A banned 1 folder
Team B banned 1 folder
Team A chooses Map 1
Team B chooses side for Map 1
Team B chooses Map 2
Team A chooses side for Map 2
Team A banned 1 folder
Team B banned 1 folder
Folder 3 is the only remaining folder

DURING THE MATCH
5.1. Streams
5.1.1. Streaming is allowed during the qualifiers. However, you will be required to
set a delay of at least 2 minutes here. During the final day no
participant livestream the entire tournament games. This will be livestreamed on the
Twitch channel of H20 Esports.
5.2. Race starts and restarts.
5.2.1. From the moment a race begins, participants are prohibited from intentionally
of the game to disconnect. If a participant or team intentionally disconnects after the
game has started, the game will continue with the remaining players and will not
be restarted.
5.2.2. A Team may request a game restart if the fairness of the game is seriously
is harmed by a problem beyond the control of the players. Issues that may
lead to a race restart include, but are not limited to:
Enemy players using 3rd party tools or software in violation of the General
Conditions of Riot; or if the game crashes for all 10 players.
5.2.3. All restart requests must be reported to the Admin team before a
restart can be performed. Evidence to support the request must be
shared and the decision on restart will be at the sole discretion of Admin.
5.3. Violation of the terms of use
If participants are found guilty of Bug Abuse or in violation of the General
Conditions of Riot, they may suffer consequences, including automatic
disqualification. All penalties are at the sole discretion of the Administration.
AFTER THE GAME
6.1. Reporting the score
Each Team Captain must provide a screenshot within 5 minutes of the end of the match
of each game's score submitted via FACEIT. This proof must be a screenshot of the
endgame leaderboard.The opponent approves this score. If within these 5
minutes no objection or confirmation passed by the losing party, then determined
the administration if the score is correct.
6.2. Protests
Protest against any other form of rule violation by another player can only be
be reported with video evidence. The protest must include a specific time stamp
on which the foul occurred, the name of the player who committed the foul,
as well as a clear description of what happened. Protests that lack evidence or
include details such as time stamp and description will be rejected. All protests must
be sent to an Admin via the Tournament Discord server or via the email address
of the tournament: jimme@h20.gg
RULE VIOLATION AND PUNISHMENT
7.1. Possible penalties
Penalties for each rule violation include, but are not limited to:
Loss of one match
Disqualification from the tournament
Disqualification from future tournaments
Penalties are at the sole discretion of the Administration.
PRICE 8.1.
Prize In Tournament:
1st place qualifying round: 5x alienware M610 mouse + playing spot in finals
2nd place qualifying round: spot in finals
1st place finals: €2500 for the winning team
2nd place final: €1000 for the team
3rd & 4th place finals: €500 per team
8.2. H20's standard shipping policies and restrictions apply to shipping
of prizes. It is the sole responsibility of participants to verify that
H20 is able to ship prizes to their location before participating in the
tournament.
8.3. Winners located in countries where H20 cannot ship should contact
contact the Community team to try to find an alternative. H20 is not
liable for the price if alternative shipping arrangements cannot be found.
